Adventure Partners Terms and conditions
1. Registration for Events & Payment
You can register for Adventure Partners’ courses, trips, and other events through our website. The participation fee is paid at the time of registration, which secures your spot. For multi-day trips and courses (typically over a weekend), registration is completed by paying a booking fee online. The remaining balance is invoiced via email and must be paid between 1–60 days before the event, depending on the specific trip.
Some of our products, such as the TransAlp cycling adventure and the Mont Blanc climbing week, include third-party accommodation services (hotels and mountain huts). As a travel organizer, we have placed a statutory travel guarantee with the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority in accordance with the Package Travel Act.
Our online store offers a wide range of modern payment methods. You can also pay partially or fully using sports and wellness benefits (ePassi, Smartum, etc.). If you wish to pay using one of these benefits, transfer the desired amount to our account listed under “Adventure Partners.” Once we receive your payment receipt, we will send you a digital gift card of the same value, which you can then use to register for any of our events through our online store.
2. Event Confirmation
At Adventure Partners, we prioritize running all events as planned. However, if we must cancel or reschedule a course, trip, or event due to low registration numbers, staff illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants may choose either to cancel their registration or transfer their payment to another Adventure Partners product.
3. Liability & Insurance
Our staff are covered by a professional liability insurance, which includes guidance, equipment, and venue-related responsibilities during the event. Participants are personally responsible for all other damages or accidents and should ensure they have adequate personal accident and travel insurance.
We strongly recommend that all participants have valid travel insurance that covers cancellations due to illness and accidents during courses, mountain trips, or sea-based adventures. For mountaineering trips, your insurance must cover glacier travel and high-altitude conditions. For cycling trips, make sure your insurance also covers injuries and accidents related to cycling.
4. Cancellations & Changes
For domestic events lasting up to one day, cancellation must be made via email at least 10 business days before the start of the event. A processing fee of €30 will be charged, and the rest of the participation fee will be refunded. If cancelled less than 10 business days before the event, the fee will not be refunded. However, you can transfer your booking to another Adventure Partners product free of charge up to 10 business days prior to the event.
If you are unable to attend due to a last-minute reason such as illness, you may transfer your spot to another person.
These cancellation terms do not apply to the Pallas Finnish Championships in Ski Mountaineering (SM-skimo) or the “7 Keroa kavereiden kesken” ski touring event. For these events, participation fees are non-refundable, but you may always transfer your registration to another person.
For multi-day events, both domestic and abroad, cancellations must be made via email at least 60 days before the start date. A €30 processing fee will apply. Many of our international trips include a non-refundable booking fee payable upon registration. Paying this booking fee constitutes a binding registration.
If the cancellation occurs 30–59 days before the event, 50% of the participation fee will be refunded. If cancelled less than 30 days before the start of the event, no refund will be issued. You may, however, transfer your registration to another person.
5. Guidance & Customer Support
We’re happy to provide more information about our products and help you with practical arrangements for our courses, trips, and events. If you’re unsure whether a particular trip or course is right for you, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll help you choose the option that best suits your skill level and goals.
Participants will receive practical instructions via email before the course begins. For mountain trips, we also host pre-trip info sessions via Microsoft Teams.
