Women’s Freeride Camp in Norway, April 12-14, 2026 FULLY BOOKED
This is a freeride ski camp specifically for women. Each day, we will select 1-2 mountain tours and enjoy Norway’s breathtaking mountains. On the first day, we will plan routes together for the following days. We will be staying in Nordkjosbotn, from where, depending on the conditions, we can access the mountains of Tamok, Nordkjosbotn, or Lyngen. The guided ski tours in the Lyngen and Tamok regions, as well as Kvaløya, will include three ski tour days in Northern Norway.
The Women’s Freeride Ski Camp includes:
- Three guided ski tour days
- Opportunity to plan day trips during the tour
- Choosing safe ascents and descents and making decisions together
- Loan of avalanche rescue equipment during the camp if you don’t have your own yet
- Instruction on using avalanche safety equipment and recognizing avalanche terrain
- Practice of off-piste skiing techniques
The price does not include:

*Accommodation options in Nordkjosbotn include hotel accommodation at Vollan Gjestestue, as well as Airbnb options. A WhatsApp group for participants will be created before the tour, so you can arrange carpooling and shared accommodation with other participants.
Prerequisites:
- Skiing ability: able to ski intermediate slopes and make turns in variable snow conditions. Some experience skiing off-piste is recommended.
Equipment:
- Ski touring equipment (skis, boots, touring bindings, climbing skins & adjustable poles – snowboarders use a splitboard, bindings, skins and adjustable poles). You can rent ski touring equipment (skis, skins, boots, poles) from Adventure Partners for 3 days for 110 EUR. Splitboards with bindings, skins, and poles are also available for 110 EUR. For splitboarding, bring your own snowboard boots. Please specify your boot size when booking a splitboard or ski touring equipment here.
- Avalanche safety equipment (avalanche beacon, shovel, probe). If you don’t own your own, you can borrow them from AP for the tour.
- Weather-appropriate clothing, jacket for breaks, backpack, thermos, water bottle, snacks.
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, ski goggles.
- Ski helmet.
- If you have them, bring: compass, altimeter watch, area maps, Tromsø area ski touring guide.
- Note-taking materials.
Structure of the Ski Touring Days: Days start at around 9:00 AM and finish around 5:00 PM. Afterward, there will be an optional après-ski gathering. The program will include not only ski touring but also route planning together. The schedule will largely depend on the weather and conditions.
Price: 460 EUR for the 3-day tour (Price does not include transportation, accommodation, meals, or personal equipment for the tour).
