Crystal-clear waters, fish in some of the richest fishing grounds, watch seabirds soar along dramatic coastlines, ski touring to breathtaking viewpoints, feel the stunning fjords on the sea, and cook with fresh local ingredients.
We anchor overnight, sleep on the open sea under the glow of the sun. Days are long to enjoy the beauty around, you feel you dont even want to go to bed!
On our trips, you become part of the crew.
You’ll take part in all aspects of running the boat—including navigation, sailing, and daily tasks. Cooking is a shared responsibility and rotates among everyone on board.

OVNIs are specially designed for Arctic conditions and built to withstand intensive use, making them the perfect choice for blue water sailing. In fact, the OVNI Alubat is also trusted by the French Navy! Accommodation will be on board the Ovni Alubat 495 yacht.

We wake up in Tromsø harbour. It is time to clean together & pack our packs. We will check out the boat in the morning by 10 am.
Optional:

Ski touring & split boarding equipment rental and avalanche safety equipment loan is available from Adventure Partners. Please ask for details.

Trip Details:

No prior sailing experience required

Ski touring takes place in terrain with a maximum slope angle of 30°

Participants must have the ability to ski intermediate-level slopes in variable snow conditions
Price: €3000 / person

Reservation fee: €700 payable upon registration

Remaining balance: Due 60 days before the trip

Professional skipper and ski guide for up to 5 participants

5 full days guided skiing. 6 days sailing & 6 nights in the yacht

Enjoy and experience the amazing wild nature in North Norway
- Use of our shared equipment if available: dinghies, fishing equipment, etc.
- All boat-related costs like diesel, propane and harbor fees
- Personal safety equipment: lifejacket on the sea and snow safety gear when skiing
- Enjoying the best possible skiing that can be found. Our experienced guide team have extensive experience guiding and skiing in Lyngen area. Opportunities to learn about skiing in North Norway and participate in planning ski routes

Instruction on safe route choices and avalanche decision-making

Accommodation 6 nights onboard the Ovni yacht. Sleeping arrangements are in shared cabins with double or bunk beds. To share the experience with a friend or family member mean you will have your own cabin.

- Insurance covering off piste skiing, any accidents or sickness and will also cover any transport home.
Participant Requirements:
Skiing Ability:

Must be able to ski intermediate slopes and make turns in various snow conditions

Some experience off-piste is recommended
Required Equipment:

Touring skis or splitboard setup (skins, poles, compatible bindings)

Avalanche safety gear (transceiver, shovel, probe) – available to borrow

Weather-appropriate clothing, down/shell jacket, backpack, thermos, water bottle, snacks

Sunglasses, sunscreen, ski goggles

Ski helmet

Compass, altimeter watch, local maps
Day Structure (Touring Days):

Daily start around 09:00, end around 17:00 (adjusted to conditions and group preferences)

Includes both ski touring and some theory (planning, avalanche awareness, etc.)
