We’ll be ski touring and riding the stunning fells of the Pallas region. With our professional guide team, we’ll seek out and ride the best snow available in the area at the time. Our terrain includes the Pallas fells, Keimiötunturi, Lommoltunturi, and if needed, the Ylläs fell area.

This camp is open to both skiers and snowboarders. It’s perfect for those who want to enjoy Lapland’s beautiful terrain with a local guide, while also improving essential backcountry skills.
Participants staying at Hanurila Lodge will organize and prepare evening meals together — food costs are shared among the group.

There are three options to join the camp depending on how much support you need. All packages include 3 full ski touring days with expert guidance.
You can reserve your spot by paying a €300 deposit. Just let us know in the comments section of the booking which package (1, 2 or 3) you’d like. If you need rental gear or extra nights at Hanurila, just mention that too — we’ve got you covered!

- Shared transfer from Levi on the arrival evening at 18:00 (meeting point: Postintie 3 B, Levi)
- Grocery stop on the way before continuing to Hanurila Lodge
- Return transfer after the final ski day to Levi and directly to Kittilä Airport, arriving in time for the 18:30 flight
- Daily shared transfers between Hanurila and the mountains
- 3 nights shared accommodation at Hanurila Lodge (bed linen & towel included)
- 3 guided ski touring / freeride days
- Arrival evening equipment check and trip preparation

🌟 Pallas Finnish Ski Mountaineering Championships Week – Freeride Camp
17–19 March 2027
The perfect choice if you’d like to combine freeride skiing with the atmosphere of the Finnish Ski Mountaineering Championships. You can also extend your stay by joining the Pallas Skimo event as an optional add-on.
Option 1 – Camp (17–19 March)

- Shared transfers from Levi to Hanurila and back (including Kittilä Airport if needed)
- Arrival transfer on 17 March at 18:00 from Postintie 3 B, Levi

Required Skills & Equipment
Skiing ability
You should be comfortable skiing intermediate (red) slopes in varying snow conditions.

- Touring skis with skins or splitboard

The price does not include:

Meals are prepared together at the lodge. Food costs are shared between participants, and menus are planned according to the group’s preferences.
We strongly recommend personal accident insurance that covers freeride skiing.
Additional night at Hanurila Lodge before or after the camp:
€95 per person (subject to availability).

Arrival Day
18:00 – Arrival at Hanurila Lodge, equipment check and preparations for the first ski day.
Ski Days
10:00–17:00 – Guided ski touring and freeride adventures in Pallas and the surrounding fells.
Departure Day
Shared transfer to Levi or Kittilä Airport.
