We’ll be ski touring and riding the stunning fells of the Pallas region. With our professional guide team, we’ll seek out and ride the best snow available in the area at the time. Our terrain includes the Pallas fells, Keimiötunturi, Lommoltunturi, and if needed, the Ylläs fell area.

This camp is open to both skiers and snowboarders. It’s perfect for those who want to enjoy Lapland’s beautiful terrain with a local guide, while also improving essential backcountry skills.
Participants staying at Hanurila Lodge will organize and prepare evening meals together — food costs are shared among the group.
Skill level required:

Confident on intermediate terrain in varied snow conditions

Some prior experience skiing/riding off-piste
There are three options to join the camp depending on how much support you need. All packages include 3 full ski touring days with expert guidance.
You can reserve your spot by paying a €300 deposit. Just let us know in the comments section of the booking which package (1, 2 or 3) you’d like. If you need rental gear or extra nights at Hanurila, just mention that too — we’ve got you covered!
Option 1 – All-In with Transport & Lodging
Price: €800
Includes:

Group transport from Levi (Postintie 3B) to Hanurila Lodge on arrival day at 17:00

Return transfer to Levi and Kittilä airport after the last ski day (you’ll make the 18:30 flight to Helsinki!)

Daily transport to skiing areas

3 nights shared accommodation at Hanurila Backcountry Adventure Lodge, linens & towels included

3 guided ski touring days with Elina (certified avalanche educator) and Teija (ski instructor & trip leader)

Option 2 – Lodging Only, You Drive
Price: €700
Perfect if you’ve got your own car and don’t need transport to the trailheads.

Option 3 – Your Own accommodation and transportation
Price: €420
Best for those staying elsewhere with their own car and plans. You still join the full ski touring program during the day.

If you’re joining the March 17–20, 2026 camp, you can add a unique experience right after:

Need gear? No problem.
You can rent a full backcountry touring setup for the 3-day camp:

Here’s what a typical camp looks like:
Arrival Day (Day 1)

Arrival at Hanurila Lodge after 17:00

Get settled, meet the crew

Chill evening with casual dinner prep together
Participants not staying at Hanurila will join us on the morning of the first ski day at the agreed meeting point near Pallas — location depends on weather and will be confirmed the day before.
Tip:
If you’re flying into Kittilä in the morning, you can get a warm-up ski day at Levi before heading to the backcountry. There’s luggage storage available at Levi for your gear during the day.
Ski Touring Days (Days 2–4)
We’ll head out each day to explore the best snow and terrain based on the current conditions. Locations include:

Every day:

Start skiing around 10:00

In the evenings, we’ll plan the next day’s route together
Our focus is always on safety, learning, and enjoying the wild beauty of Lapland. Depending on group size and skill levels, we may split into two groups to ensure everyone gets the best experience.
Departure Day (Final Day)
After the last ski day, we’ll organize a shared transfer back to Levi and Kittilä airport. The schedule allows you to catch the 18:30 flight to Helsinki.
